Doktor Artani punon në një kantier malor të sharrave. Mjek i talentuar, i vetkënaqur nga sukseset, pak nga pak shkëputet nga jeta e popullit, molepset nga konceptet e huaja mikroborgjeze. Doctor Artani works in a mountain sawmill. A talented doctor, self-satisfied with his successes, he gradually detaches himself from the life of the people, is seduced by foreign, petty-bourgeois concepts. Friends such as Dr. Agimi and Prof. Tahsimi, as well as his family and his wife-in-law, rise up against his concepts. In tragic circumstances, he kills himself.
