Një gjeneral dhe një prift Italian vijnë në Shqipëri për të mbledhur eshtrat e ushtarëve të tyre të rënë gjatë luftës së II Botërore në lufrat me forcat partizane. Subjekti dramatik është ndërtuar në mënurë inverse, nga fundi ngjitet drej fillimit, nga eshtrat tek “reformimi i ushtrisë në rradhë me qivurë”. Teknologji luftarake: ata nuk po gërmojnë në tokë por më shumë ata po gërmojnë në kujtimet e njerëzve, në kujtesën kombëtare.

An Italian general and a priest come to Albania to collect the remains of their soldiers who fell during World War II in the battles with the partisan forces. The dramatic subject is built in an inverse manner, from the end it ascends to the beginning, from the remains to the “reformation of the army in rows with coffins”. War technology: they are not digging in the ground but rather they are digging in the memories of the people, in the national memory.
