Dy të rinj që vijnë nga besime të ndryshme fetare vendosin të martohen me njëri-tjetrin, ua bëjnë të njohur dashurinë prindërve të tyre. Në takimin midis dy baballarëve i ati i djalit, jë konservator i rrethuar nga gruaja dhe halla, i krijonë një histori, duke përfshirë situata komike. Pasi nuk e fsheh dotë se nuk e do vajzën që vjen nga “një fe tjetër”, ai nxjerrë justifikime që kjo lidhje të bëhet e pamundur. Në të përfshiet edhe brigadieri i ndërmarjes, ku në bashkpunim me djalin dhe të atin e vajzës, i kërkon ta pranojë këtë fejesë. Babai i djalit më në fund dorëzohet përpara dashurisë së dy të rinjve.
