Tom Melgushi, i eksituar nga pija, endet rrugëve duke shqetësuar njerëzit. Një ditë Flutura, mësuesja e fshatit hipën në kamionin e tij dhe në sytë e Tomës shihet një fije shprese për një lidhje të qëndrueshme. Toma bëhet objekt kritikash për aksidentin e Fluturës e cila hidhet nga kabina e trembur nga dhuna e Tomës.

Tom Melgushi, excited by drink, wanders the streets disturbing people. One day Flutura, the village teacher, gets into his truck and in Toma's eyes a glimmer of hope for a lasting relationship is seen. Toma becomes the object of criticism for Flutura's accident, who jumps out of the cab, frightened by Toma's violence.

Subjekti trajton realitetin gjatë regjimit zogist duke fajësuar përgjegjësit për përçarjen e popullit dhe nxitjen e hakmarrjes midis tyre. Dy të rinj, Mazi dhe Dushi, rrjedhin nga dy familje malësore që janë në gjak me njëra tjetrën prej shumë kohësh. Njëra familje jeton në malësitë e thella dhe tjetra në qytet.

The subject deals with the reality during the Zog regime, blaming those responsible for the division of the people and inciting revenge among them. Two young men, Mazi and Dushi, come from two mountain families that have been blood relatives for a long time. One family lives in the deep highlands and the other in the city.
