ILO Pinci, a fish and mussel specialist and a well-known chess player, arrives in a small coastal town as a guest at a chess tournament. But what drives him most to come to this city is his secret desire to discover practical and technical data regarding mussel cultivation. He is convinced that he will easily cope with the match with the local chess players but with stimulants he can from little Rudina.
